What to expect
Route planned according to your wishes
Surely you have a list of dream places in Barcelona. How to fit maximum in one day and avoid logistic mistakes? You will write in advance what interests you, and I will create the route of our adventure. I will help you discover the forever young Barcelona, happily share useful tips: how to spend the following days, where to enjoy local cuisine, and how to get to the countryside attractions.
Interesting chronicles of Barcelona
This lady has many stories stored for you: about the genius Gaudi and the black monks, about merchants and unfaithful wives, about the Olympic Games and medieval mysteries. Wherever we go, I will tell you clearly and easily about the fate of Barcelona, the character of Catalans, and the modern city.
What you can see
Old Town
It's two thousand years of Barcelona's history. These are the oldest buildings in the city and captivating legends. Dragons, knights, and princesses. Kings, sailors, and Saints! You will get lost in the Gothic Quarter, visit the Cathedral and the church of Santa Maria del Pi, stand at the ancient Roman cemetery, and feel like in the Middle Ages.
Antoni Gaudi's masterpieces
You will immerse yourself in the life and work of the architect, learn how he worked and what meanings he put into his projects. The background for this will be the fairy-tale house Ballo, the innovative house Mila, the colorful house Vicens, and the strict house Calvet. Of course, we will visit Park Guell and observe the Sagrada Familia church, which was built with donations from all of humanity.
Montjuic mountain - the highest point of Barcelona
It is responsible for the appearance of the Gothic Quarter, the El Born district, and the Sagrada Familia. Its slopes have seen Olympic champions and have become the last refuge for the most famous families in Barcelona. Here you can climb to the summit to the fortress, see the objects of the 1992 Olympics, admire flamenco dancers and singing fountains.
Tibidabo mountain
The white temple of the Sacred Heart and the view from its top will conquer you, and I will tell you about the amazing destiny of the sanctuary. And young travelers will appreciate Tibidabo: it houses the oldest amusement park in Europe.
Port and beaches
Once in Barcelona, there was neither one nor the other. Goods were delivered by boats, and sunbathing was done on the lawns. Today Barcelona is the happy owner of one of the best ports in the world and four kilometers of wonderful beaches. During the tour, I will tell you about this transformation.
In addition, you can include in the walk the bohemian district El Born, the original Raval, viewing platforms, and the park Citadel beloved by locals.
