You will immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Catalan capital and step by step walk through the milestones of its history under my guidance.
What to expect
❤ Architecture, flavors, histories, and colors of Barcelona
During the walk, we will explore both historical sights and architectural gems of Barcelona - magnificent creations of Gaudi. To immerse yourself more deeply in the spirit of the city, I will show you its secret places and take you to authentic pastry shops. In our program:
- stand on the central Catalonia Square and see remnants of ancient Roman mighty walls;
- soak up the Medieval atmosphere in the Gothic and Jewish quarters, admire the beauty of the facade of the Cathedral and the history of the white geese living inside;
- indulge in the most delicious pastries and croissants with a view of the ancient church of Santa Maria del Mar;
- admire the Palace of Catalan Music, famous worldwide for its concert hall, and the King's Palace;
- explore the history of the legendary café - the first place to exhibit Picasso's paintings;
- visit the Royal Square with early works by Gaudi and stroll along La Rambla pedestrian boulevard with its conflicting fame;
- go to the famous delicacies market La Boqueria;
- study the main commercial avenue of Barcelona - Passeig de Gracia and uncover how the city's expansion plan was realized in the 19th century;
- as well as be fascinated by unexpected facts about Gaudi's masterpieces - and fall in love with the Catalan capital!
