About this experience
I offer you to take a look at the main attractions and keep a pleasant memory of meeting Barcelona. You will visit the medieval heart of the city, see Gaudí's unique masterpiece, and climb Montjuïc - Barcelona must be seen from above! You will follow a route through the most interesting locations that the capital of Catalonia has to offer.
What to expect
- Gothic Quarter - the medieval heart of Barcelona with narrow intertwining streets. The most important aspects of the city become clear here. We will talk about the history of the Iberian Peninsula - from the Roman era to the present day. We will find the belly button of Barcelona and locate the place from where Columbus set off on his legendary voyage.
- Montjuïc Hill. For a city like Barcelona, which sits on hills, it is essential to see it from above. We will head to one of its main peaks - the place where the Olympic Games, the World Fair, and Formula 1 races took place. You will enjoy the most wonderful city panoramas. We can descend back by funicular and end up right by the sea.
- Sagrada Familia. The architectural wonder of the capital of Catalonia and Gaudí's unsolved mystery. We will explore the cathedral from the outside and discuss why it has been under construction for 3 centuries and lacks a unified style. We will grasp the architect's vision and take plenty of colorful photos.
Upon your request, we can change the proposed locations to others: Tibidabo Mountain, Park Guell, Casa Vicens, or Labyrinth Park of Horta.
