Georgia will remain unexplored to you until you discover the secrets of local gastronomy! At the master class on authentic Megrelian cuisine, under my guidance, you will prepare fragrant khachapuri, real kharcho, and cheesy roulade 'gebzhaliya.' You will learn about other tasty symbols of Georgia, understand spices, hear about the chef's work - and of course, enjoy a meal!
What to Expect
Cooking Georgian cuisine - correctly, deliciously, with soul
I am looking forward to welcoming you into my home in a quiet area of Tbilisi. In a cozy atmosphere, you will discover the features of the national cuisine of 12 regions of Georgia. One of them - western Samegrelo - is dedicated to the master class. In a couple of hours, I will teach you how to cook three Megrelian dishes: gebzhaliya (a delicate cheesy roulade with mint), a spicy kharcho soup, and a closed khachapuri sprinkled with cheese. You will master all the nuances: how to choose suitable products; what to substitute suluguni with if it's not available; how to lay out the dough; which spices to mix. By the way, after the master class, you will always confidently choose spices!
In addition, you will learn the secrets of making khinkali, so you can prepare them at home too.
After working, it's time to relax: we'll sit at the table, pour wine, make toasts, share impressions, and even dance :)

The master class took place in a cozy and warm atmosphere. Natalia is well-versed in every aspect of Georgian cuisine. We cooked khachapuri in Megrelian style and traditional kharcho. It was engaging, heartfelt, and extremely delicious! Highly recommended!
