About this experience
Kakheti is known to everyone as the homeland of wine. We want you to see it from a different angle. In addition to wine tastings, we have included a visit to a historical place - the legendary Bodbe Monastery. We will tell you about the history and religion of our region, the Georgian language and writing, as well as about wine and winemaking.
What to expect
Telavi
You will see a 900-year-old plane tree and taste wine, brandy, and chacha made by traditional methods from the 19th-century wine cellar.
Sighnaghi
We will continue our journey to the city of love - Sighnaghi. Its architecture is unusual for Georgia and more reminiscent of Italy. You will stroll through ancient streets and climb the defensive wall, from where you will have views of the Alazan Valley and the Caucasus Range.
Bodbe Monastery
This is the resting place of the highly revered Saint Nino in Georgia. Here you will learn about the life of the enlightener of Georgia and the beginning of Georgian Orthodox history.
Master class on making Churchkhela
On the way back to Tbilisi, we will stop at a local farmer, and you will participate in creating a Georgian delicacy - Churchkhela.

Great tour, in half a day we managed to hear, see, and try a lot in Kakheti. The landscapes and nature are delightful! Lasha is a wonderful guide and organizer! Didi madloba!!!
