You will explore the ancient 13th-century castle, modernist mansions, and stroll along the local Rambla street (the longest in Catalonia). Enjoy the wonderful beaches with crystal clear water and silky sand, visit an art museum (featuring works by Picasso and an Egyptian mummy) and a maritime museum. You will also see the fishing port and the defensive lookout tower on the shore.

Life in the Catalan province
Visit a genuine non-touristy market where freshly caught fish is sold, enter wine cellars with barrels filled with wine, taste Catalan champagne known as cava. I will tell you a beautiful legend about love, which gave the town its long name. By the way, another unofficial name for the town - Little Havana - also has an interesting story...

A great place for a family vacation
After the tour, you can stay for lunch at one of the fish restaurants or pizzerias, where the Italian hostess will prepare Mickey Mouse-shaped pizzas for the children. Kids will also enjoy the largest train museum in Europe, where an antique steam locomotive comes to life on Sundays and takes children on a miniature train ride. The city also boasts very good children's beaches with transparent water and fine sand. They are so spacious that even in high season, there are no crowds of sunbathers and swimmers.
