About this experience
Imagine that you have come to visit an old friend and together you are strolling through the beautiful city. That's how you will feel on my tour! I will gladly show you the main places, tell you about the life of Venetians, lead you through secret courtyards, introduce you to my friends - master craftsmen. And in cozy 'bakari,' you will taste typical snacks while listening to stories of the locals.
What to expect
Main spots
I will show you the main attractions:
- Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square - the main square of Venice
- Viewpoint and the ancient market
- Bell tower (Campanile) of St. Mark's and the Cathedral of Santa Maria della Salute
- The oldest café in Europe 'Florian,' where the first roasted coffee drink was sold
Glassblowing workshop and mask-making workshop
I will introduce you to my friends - craftsmen for several generations. We will visit a glassblower and admire his masterpieces. We will enter a workshop for making masks. You can try on the works, feel like Casanova or Colombina, and take memorable photos.
Cozy 'bakari'
On the way, we will stop at a small bar where you will taste typical Venetian snacks: meatballs, sandwiches with baccalà, anchovies, pickled sardines in onion. And all this in the company of locals with Venetian tales and stories not found in literature.
You will see at least four, and if you try very hard, all six sestieri (districts) of Venice. Time flows in this fairytale city like water. And I do not like to look at the clock. So if the walk lasts more than 4 hours, it will not affect the cost of the tour!
