About this experience
On this walk, you will learn about the life, history, and traditions of the most unusual city in the world, see iconic sights and unconventional details, and hear stories that will help you immerse yourself in the special spirit and culture of Venice. I will also share secrets on how to easily navigate the city, where to buy unique souvenirs, and taste authentic Venetian cuisine.
Program
I will tell you the story of Venice: how the city on water was founded, how people settled the islands, and important events in the city's history. You will learn why Venice was never attacked and why there were no revolts here. Discover monuments, palaces, houses, and famous creators who lived here at different times.
The atmosphere of Venice will be revealed in subtle, at first glance, details and urban stories: about holy images on house facades, the area of courtesans, the division of Venice into districts, and the origin of city symbolism.
To introduce you to the culture and daily life of Venice, I will talk about life in the city, the apartments where Venetians settle, what they eat, and how they spend their time, Venetian habits, customs, and the loss of traditions.
I will also recommend museums, churches, and restaurants worth visiting. I'll tell you where it's best to stay and provide all the necessary information for independent exploration of the city.
Our walk will convey the true spirit of the city and leave a lot of vivid impressions. Welcome to Venice!
