About this experience
Venice is not just about San Marco and famous palaces. While we won't miss the main attractions, my main goal is to show off-the-beaten-path places, share the city's secrets, and tell about its history in a broader way than on regular tours. From the heart of Venice, the Rialto district, we will head to a local's area - Cannaregio. It will be beautiful, lively, colorful, and educational.
What to Expect
Who and why built Venice? How does it stand on the sea and is it true that it is sinking? Where is the oldest building in the city? Where did its history and business start, how did it all end, and what does pepper have to do with it? I will show you the charm of the ancient city, guide you through its labyrinths, and tell you things you probably didn't even expect.
In our program:
- The first market and the famous Rialto Bridge
- The Well of Wishes and the Merchant's Palace
- The narrowest street in the city
- The world's first Jewish Ghetto
- An unusual bookshop with a gondola and cats
- The House with an illusion and a church-shaped like a jewelry box
- A unique bridge without parapets
- And much more!
Who is the Tour For
For those who want to see another side of Venice, explore the non-touristy paths of the city, immerse themselves in its authentic atmosphere. And also for those who want to take beautiful unusual photos from interesting angles. Perhaps that's why popular bloggers, photographers, and models often choose this tour.
