About this experience
This is not a tour, but a series of small life situations in which you will take part. Yerevan has hidden stories, legends, and closed doors that will open up to you. From the basement to the top floor of the Opera House, traces of Kanye West, a message from Olafur Eliasson — all of this you can explore and discover only with us!
What to expect
The program includes a unique collage of activities and stories in which you have your role — to learn about the past. We will cover periods from the foundation of Yerevan to the Middle Ages, as well as the Soviet era and the era of oligarchs. All of this is here, next to us!
- We will meet at the Aram Khachaturian monument. Visit the Opera House and try to find the ghost of the opera. If it's during working hours, we'll catch a rehearsal of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia
- We will follow in the steps and jumps of Kanye West and end up at the 'Swan Lake', where the famous singer held a concert in 2015
- We will move to Freedom Square, where you will participate in a performance directly
- Cascade is the next location on our route. This is an open-air museum of contemporary art, where you will get acquainted with the best works of art and receive a souvenir left here by the Danish artist Olafur Eliasson
- We will stroll through the streets that have shaped the images and visual perception of Armenia for decades
- We will watch a mini-theatrical performance to learn how a mini-Dubai was built in Yerevan. You will also have a role in it!
- And finally, we will go up to Kond — the old district of Yerevan where contradictions never cease
