Welcome to the most heartwarming tour of Yerevan: mysterious in some places, contradictory in others, and bright and unpredictable in others. I will show you the city as we, the locals, see it - with all its simplicity, sincerity, and incredible hospitality. Our program includes both famous tourist sites and hidden gems:

• Republic Square - here I will tell you about the history and principles of the city's construction. You will learn why Yerevan became the capital of the state.
• Metro station 'Republic Square' - nearby you will see the park of khachkars, fountains, and the Vernissage souvenir market.
• Cathedral of the Holy Cross - a majestic building on top of the hill. And below is a boulevard with children's attractions, ice cream stalls, and coffee shops.
• Gum Market - a paradise for lovers of sweets and dried fruits, where you cannot leave without treats.
• Metro station 'Sasuntsi Davit' - named after the main hero of the homonymous Armenian epic. Here stands Armenia's heaviest statue, surrounded by several mystical stories. Why was the sculptor who created it convicted and sent to prison? What other legends are there about this place? You will find out during our meeting!
• Metro station 'Marshal Baghramyan' - here is an unusual park for lovers to meet. It is interesting because the average age of those meeting is around 60 years old. Why is that so? I'll tell you on the spot.
• Metro station 'Youth Park' - resembles a tube emerging from the depths of the earth and is considered the brightest work of modernist culture in Soviet Armenia.
• Cascade Architectural Complex - here we will end the city walk on a beautiful note.
