About this experience
Yerevan is a place where time dies and folk tales about the life of poets and artists, military leaders and heroes, kings and common people are born. It is a sunlit city adorned with squares, fountains, and monuments. I will take you to its most interesting and picturesque places, help you immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere here, and reveal the city's rich history.
What to Expect
Main and Secret Places of the City
You will appreciate Yerevan's "visitor card" - the architectural-monumental complex Cascade. You will uncover its history, learn about the architect Tamanyan, and enjoy the beautiful view of the city. You will also find out how the Opera Theater and the Zvartnots Cathedral are connected, stroll along the "tastiest" street of the Armenian capital, and visit the Dalan Art Gallery. Additionally, you will see the Moscow Cinema and the "Zodiac Signs" fountain, to which the first city tram line leads.
Yerevan in Faces
Many talented people lived and visited Yerevan. I will tell you about the achievements and tragic fate of the composer Komitas, about the creativity and refusal of the Pulitzer Prize winner writer Saroyan, about the great musicians Khachaturian and Babajanyan. I will also show you the monument to Sayat-Nova - the master of literary mystifications. Our journey will end in Republic Square: you will hear who designed it, how many decades its construction lasted, and what makes it remarkable today.
