About this experience
Join us on a journey along the southern roads of Rhodes, where tourists rarely tread. Along the way, we will encounter mountains and wild beaches, forests and gorges. You will see where the knights of Rhodes defended their borders, visit the church of a famous Greek saint, taste local wines and honey. And also witness the sunset at the southernmost point of the island!
What to Expect
Ancient castles and local crafts
You will visit the Kritinia Castle, learn about medieval festivals, and enjoy the magnificent view of the surroundings. You will also 'rise to the clouds' and appreciate the panorama of Monolithos Castle. After that, we will head to the charming southern villages! In Embona, you will taste aromatic Rhodes wine, cheese, and olive oil. And in Sianna, visit the church of Saint Panteleimon and stroll through the stalls of local artisans and beekeepers.
A world of untouched nature
You will stop at the Alpheus Canyon, hear the legend of a Cretan prince, climb to the observation platforms, and observe the neighboring islands from above. Finally, you will reach the southernmost point of the island - Prasonisi. This is the place where two seas meet: the Aegean and the Mediterranean. It is here that we will watch the sunset, enjoying the romantic landscape and observing the tricks of kite surfers.
