What to Expect
Cultural Landmarks
We will visit the main historical and culturally significant sites of Rhodes. You will visit the famous tunnel at the Seven Springs and learn the recipe for youth. See the miraculous icon of St. Tsambika, the amazing properties of which have been proven many times in practice. Visit the picturesque town of Lindos, where you will climb on a donkey to the ancient Greek Acropolis. And if you wish, we can visit a pottery workshop to see the process of making Greek ceramics and buy unique souvenirs.
Exploring Local Cuisine
Visiting the church of St. Panteleimon, you will taste delicious homemade olive oil, honey, wine, and other products, and learn how these delicacies are grown here by the local priest's family. Then, we will enjoy an excellent lunch at a true family tavern on the slope of the highest mountain, Ataviros. Here you can try traditional Greek lamb cooked on coals and many other dishes of local cuisine that you might not have heard of! After lunch, we will visit a tasting of local Rhodes wines, which are produced by three families in small family wineries.
The Incredible Nature of Rhodes
You will discover the most beautiful views of the island: vineyards and olive groves, mountain panoramas, and sea landscapes. We will ascend to an observation platform of the medieval fortress of Monolithos. Swim in two seas at the beach called "Kiss of Two Seas" and check which one has warmer water. After a hearty lunch, equally interesting places await you: Mussolini's villa in a cypress grove, the church of St. Nicholas with ancient frescoes, the giant Wishing Tree, sacred springs with the tastiest water on Rhodes, and the picturesque bay of Antony Quinn.
