About this experience
It's hard to imagine how much can fit on a small piece of land - the island of Rhodes. Two routes that can reveal all its beauty are at your service! You will learn the history of the island from antiquity to the Middle Ages and our days, visit Orthodox churches and the Acropolis (not just one!). You will discover what remains on Rhodes from the 'stops' of the knightly orders, swim in the aquamarine-colored waters, and taste authentic Rhodian wine. The magical island and its surprises will forever leave a mark on your heart.
What to Expect
We have designed an interesting overview route for an exciting introduction to Rhodes and its important attractions.
From Lindos to Kissing of the Two Seas
You will see that Rhodes has many natural wonders, and you will get to know one of them at the very beginning of the trip - dip your feet in the waters of the Seven Springs under plane trees and walk through a tunnel to rejuvenate. Then our path will lead through a beautiful forest, where Italian sanatoriums are cozy and Mussolini's villa is hidden. We will appreciate the architectural decoration of the Church of St. Panteleimon, and in the Church of Our Lady of Tsambika, we will talk about the arrival of Christianity on the island. Visit a ceramic workshop and enjoy the beautiful sight - the Kissing of the Two Seas.
In the hot Lindos, we will arrive when the evening coolness has already spread over the city. You will enter the heart of its Acropolis, wander through a labyrinth of alleys preserving ancient planning. In the Bay of Apostle Paul in the shape of a heart, we will stop for a photo session and swimming, and in the Monolithos Castle, we will reveal the history of its construction by medieval knights and see the neighboring islands and the edge of Asia Minor from a height. And at the end of the tour, we will visit a village of winemakers to taste Rhodian wines.
On the way, we will often stop at impressive viewpoints to enjoy the island's panoramas: even the beginning of our journey will start with a view of two beautiful bays of the Mediterranean Sea - Anthony Quinn and Ladiko.
