About this experience
You will visit Lindos and climb its Acropolis, stroll through the streets of ancient Kamiros to learn about the daily life of people from that time, see the Knight's Monastery, and feed peacocks. Additionally, you will discover Greek cuisine, interact with locals, and delve into the mysteries of Christianity.
What to Expect
Tour Format and Efficiency
Maximum immersion into the island of Rhodes, its history, traditions, gastronomy, and local population. Within 10 hours, we will visit all iconic historical landmarks, where as a professional, I will guide you through millennia, letting the ruins engage in dialogue with us. As a resident of the island, I will introduce you to the delightful gastronomic feasts of Greece, which we will enjoy in the company of locals.
Across the Island: Map Points and Color
Accompanied by a licensed guide and archaeologist, you will explore one of the ancient cities – Lindos, where we will visit its Acropolis together. A walk through the streets of the ancient city of Kamiros will take us on a journey into the distant past and reveal how people lived at that time. Natural beauties await you at the Valley of the Butterflies or on top of Filerimos Hill. We will visit an active monastery and observe its tranquil life. Gastronomic experiences will also be part of our program, including a lunch stop and tasting of local products in one of the mountain villages.
