What to expect
Kronborg Castle, or Hamlet's Castle
It is located in the ancient seaside town of Elsinore and has kept its secrets since the beginning of the 15th century. We will not enter the castle itself, but we will take a walk around it. I will tell you about the construction of Kronborg, the benefits it brought to the Danish kingdom and Elsinore, and why William Shakespeare described this place in his world-famous play 'Hamlet'. I will also introduce you to the most interesting sights of amazing Elsinore.
Fredensborg Castle, or Palace of Peace
The Danish royal residence is cozily situated on the shore of the famous Lake Esrum. We will visit a beautiful park with numerous sculptures, monuments, and alleys. You will learn why Fredensborg is considered one of the most beautiful and popular castles in Denmark and why the royal family enjoys spending time there.
Frederiksborg Castle – the northern gem of Scandinavia
The castle was built in 1560 and has undergone numerous reconstructions since then, opening its doors to guests as a national historical museum. We will walk through the luxurious Baroque garden, admire the fountains and sculptures. I will share the history of the castle's construction and tell you why Frederiksborg was created in the small town of Hillerød and what attracts about a million visitors a year. Optionally, you can get acquainted with Danish cuisine in one of the cozy cafes overlooking the castle.
