What to expect
Copenhagen
Let's start the tour by exploring Copenhagen and its colorful district of Christianshavn. It is a separate island connected by 3 bridges. You will see canals and quays, admire the 90-meter high Church of Our Saviour. I will show you the old warehouses where grain, sugar, and flour used to be stored, and now people live there.
We will also ride through the neighborhoods of Islands Brygge and Sluseholmen, known as 'Venice on Water', and visit the 'city of the future' Ørestad, famous for its fashionable architecture.
Across the famous bridge
Then we will head to the southernmost city of Sweden - Malmö - via the Öresund Bridge. It is known for connecting Denmark and Sweden and is considered the largest suspension bridge in Europe. Its length is 16 km, 4 of which are underwater tunnel!
Malmö
This city is interesting for its history and architecture, as well as its unusual cafes and restaurants. We will visit Stortorget Square, where the Town Hall, the Governor's Residence, the monument to Charles X Gustav, a beautiful fountain, and the oldest pharmacy 'Lejonet' in the city are located.
St. Peter's Church with a carved altarpiece from the 17th century and the tallest building in Scandinavia with a spiral facade - are also included in our program. We will conclude the trip at the ancient castle of Malmö - one of the oldest in Sweden.
