About this experience
In the 1950s, an exciting discovery was made in the Tamgaly tract - a collection of petroglyphs from the Bronze and Iron Ages was discovered. Recently, this complex became the first monument of rock art in Central Asia to be included in the UNESCO list. In our small expedition, you will explore mysterious messages from the past, learn about the types and styles of drawings, and realize the sacred value of the valley.
❗ The complex is also known as Tamgaly, please do not confuse it with another tract - Tamgaly-Tas on the Ili River. It is located in a completely different place and is known primarily for the rock images of Buddha.
