About this experience
You will spend this day as if you came to visit an old friend for the weekend. We will steer clear of beaten paths, but you won't miss out on the main attractions! There will be the ancient Moorish Castle and antique chapels, Masonic secrets and sumptuous palaces. And also secret panoramic views with stunning sights, the best beaches, and plenty of gastronomic experiences.
What to Expect
Magic of Historical Places
During the day, you will explore the surroundings of Lisbon and my favorite Sintra – the residence of kings, where Masons kept their secrets, where Hans Christian Andersen and Lord Byron stayed, and where the famous century-old tram line leading to the ocean begins. I will tell you about a medieval spring and its healing properties. I will take you to the Moorish Castle, where we will briefly talk about the influence of the Arab conquest era. You will also see an ancient chapel on the mountain, nestled among the magical forests of the national park, or (if access to the chapel is closed) stroll through the narrow streets of Sintra.
Best Beaches and Secret Panoramas
On the trip, I have selected the most beautiful spots in Sintra, after which you simply cannot help but fall in love with it. You will visit one of the most picturesque beaches, where photoshoots and wedding ceremonies are often held. Through secret paths, I will lead you to a little-known place on the rugged cliffs, from where you will have breathtaking ocean views. And, of course, the program will include the westernmost point of Europe – the magnificent Cape Roca.
Gastronomic Pleasure
For lunch, I will suggest visiting my favorite family restaurant, where you can try superb octopus by a traditional recipe and heavenly homemade desserts. Throughout the day, you will also taste exquisite Portuguese coffee from beans roasted in a wood-fired oven or tea made from forest herbs. On the way, I will talk about local markets with farm products and culinary traditions of Portugal. Moreover, we will have a picnic with a tasting of the famous Portuguese green wine at the highest point of the reserve. And if there is time left, we will watch the sunset in a cozy bar with a glass of wine or port wine overlooking the famous Guincho Beach.

How the Tour Goes
- I will meet you at hotels in Lisbon, Sintra, and the surrounding areas and take you back after the tour
- We will be moving around in a BMW Active 2 Tourer
