This day you will spend as if you came to visit an old friend for the weekend. We will bypass the beaten paths, but you won't miss the main highlights! There will be the ancient Moorish Castle and antique chapels, Masonic secrets and luxurious palaces. And also secret viewpoints with stunning views, the best beaches, and plenty of gastronomical experiences.
What to expect
Enchantment of Historical Sites
Throughout the day, you will explore the surroundings of Lisbon and my beloved Sintra - the residence of kings, where Masons kept their secrets, where Hans Christian Andersen and Lord Byron stayed, and where the famous centenary tram line leading to the ocean begins. I will tell you about a medieval spring and its healing properties. I will take you to the Moorish Castle, where we will discuss the influence of the Arabic conquest. You will also see an ancient chapel on the mountain, nestled among fairy-tale forests of the national park or (if access to the chapel is closed) stroll through the narrow streets of Sintra.
Best Beaches and Secret Viewpoints
On this trip, I have put together the most beautiful corners of Sintra, after which it is simply impossible not to fall in love with it. You will visit one of the most picturesque beaches, where photo shoots and wedding ceremonies are often held. Through secret trails, I will lead you to a little-known place on the rugged cliffs, from where you will witness incredible ocean panoramas. And, of course, the program will include the westernmost point of Europe - the magnificent Cabo da Roca.
Gastronomic Delight
For lunch, I will suggest you visit my favorite family restaurant, where you can try exquisite octopus cooked according to a traditional recipe and mind-blowing homemade desserts. During the day, you will also taste delightful Portuguese coffee made from beans roasted in a wood-fired oven or tea made from forest herbs. Along the way, I will talk about local markets with farm products and culinary traditions of Portugal. Furthermore, at the highest point of the nature reserve, we will have a picnic with a tasting of the famous Portuguese green wine. If there is time left, we will watch the sunset in a cozy bar with a glass of wine or port overlooking the famous Guincho Beach.

How the tour goes
- I will meet you at hotels in Lisbon, Sintra, and the surrounding areas and take you back after the tour
- We will travel in a BMW Active 2 Tourer
