About this experience
Let's head to Bukit Tinggi - a picturesque town an hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur - and visit French and Japanese villages there. You will see Alsatian architecture, have tea in a traditional Japanese house, and visit an observation deck. You will visit a botanical garden with tropical plants and exotic animals. And we will complement the day with stories about the traditions of both countries.
What to expect
We will pick you up from the hotel and head to Bukit Tinggi. In this town at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level, you will take a walk through villages and get acquainted with the cultural features of France and Japan.
French village Colmar Tropicale and observation tower
You will walk across a wooden suspension bridge and cobblestone paths. You will admire the colorful architecture - old buildings, restaurants, souvenir shops with wooden window frames.
You will also see the clock tower with a cuckoo, designed in the likeness of the Riquewihr tower in Alsace, and the fountain in the central square of Colmar. Climb the observation tower and enjoy the view of the mountaintop and the square.
Japanese village and botanical garden
You will explore the Japanese village and optionally visit a tea house where you can enjoy a fragrant drink. You can also rent a kimono and take a few atmospheric photos.
Then we will go to the botanical garden. Here you will find incredibly diverse flora and fauna! You will hear birds singing and insects buzzing, observe monkeys and other garden residents, and also appreciate the scents of the blooming plants on the territory.
