What to Expect
Batu Caves
In the beginning, we will visit the famous Batu Caves located in the vicinity of Kuala Lumpur. After climbing 272 steps, you will find yourself in a colorful Hindu cave complex. Admire the grand statue of the god Murugan and explore the ancient shrines. You will also meet local monkeys and observe Hindu worshippers from different countries.
Kuala Lumpur's Landmarks
After visiting the Batu Caves, we will return to the center of Kuala Lumpur and visit its iconic places. You will see: the Petronas Twin Towers, Sultan Abdul Samad Palace, Independence Square, and the British train station. You will explore the vibrant Little India district and the bustling Central Market, visit the National Mosque and the Chinese temple Tian Hou. And we will share interesting facts related to them.
Logistical Details
- The tour is conducted in a mix of walking and car format in spacious comfort-class vehicles
- Women need to wear clothing covering their knees to visit the caves. A sarong cover-up can be purchased on-site (approximate cost $3.5)
- We will only inspect all buildings on the route from the outside. If you plan to visit one of the viewing platforms (Petronas Towers or the TV tower), please inform us when booking – tickets need to be ordered and paid for in advance.
