In a cozy culinary studio together with the hostess, you will discover the nuances of Eastern aromas and flavors, prepare a hot dish and appetizer, all while sipping mint tea with sweets and listening to how Moroccans feel about food. It will be heartfelt, delicious, and truly authentic!
What to Expect
Appetizing Stories
In a studio in a traditional style, you will be greeted by a hospitable hostess. For the next couple of hours, you will be involved in the process of cooking Moroccan dishes, while I will simultaneously tell you about locals' attitudes towards food, their taste preferences, the place of spices in the country's culture, and other interesting facts.
Moroccan Lunch by Your Own Hands
Apron and fez, an Arab red hat, will transform you from a curious guest into a real chef. Fully equipped, you will embark on the culinary art: the menu includes 2 dishes - tajine and a starter. A local cook will show you 'how it's done right' so that everything turns out perfectly the first time. And as soon as the aromas make your salivary glands work actively, we will sit down at the set table and start tasting the results of your efforts. By the way, between dishes, you will have a tea break with sweets to make it to the main dishes.
Here are some examples of starters (you will choose one to prepare):
- eggplant caviar with spices and stewed tomatoes - 'zaluk'
- baked bell peppers with garlic 'fifya mashwiya'
- grated tomatoes with herbs, peppers, and spices 'taktuka'
- olive paste with spices and garlic 'tapenade'
