What to Expect
Main and hidden gems of Marrakech
Marrakech is an ancient and incredibly colorful city, filled with historical, religious, and architectural landmarks. We will stroll through the labyrinth of the centuries-old Medina, step by step revealing its secrets. You will see the Koutoubia Mosque, the Dar-el-Bacha Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa, and much more. Optionally, we can visit local art galleries, antique shops, and workshops of craftsmen: leatherworkers, tin-smiths, and carpet weavers.
Vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square
The highlight of the day will be Jemaa el-Fna square, often called the "theatre of life". You will see snake charmers, musicians, acrobats, and fortune tellers. It is also home to the largest open-air restaurant in the world. 1200 people can dine at the square's tables simultaneously. The local atmosphere is indescribable: pots with meat, rice, and vegetables are steaming, cooks call out to the public. You will remember this spectacle for a lifetime.
