The World of Czech Brewing
For centuries, Czechia has been famous for its beer traditions: you will learn about them and trace the history of this frothy drink. I will tell you about the production of the first pale beer, the peculiarities of Czech brewing technology, traditional beer snacks in the Czech Republic, and the national cuisine in general.
Czech Beer in Historic Breweries
You will visit three establishments where beer has been brewed since the 15th century! In these breweries, you will learn to distinguish between bottom-fermented and top-fermented beers, sample light and dark, special beers, and even try unusual cut beer. At the beginning of the tour, each traveler will receive a beer passport, where you can mark the visited breweries and beer varieties sampled - in the future, you can fill out the passports yourself, discovering new tastes of your favorite drink.
Organizational Details
- Book the tour at least 7 days before the expected date (time is needed to reserve tables in breweries)
- Beer and snacks at the establishments are paid for separately depending on your preferences
- We meet in the center of Prague near the old trams at Wenceslas Square
- Part of the route will be by public transport
- The tour can be conducted for a larger number of people (up to 10). Supplement for each participant is €15.
