About this experience
When Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and Prague Castle are explored, it's time to move on to a new stage of relations with Prague. On the tour through bridges without crowds of tourists, you will admire the costumes of the Prague Infant Jesus, be amazed by modern sculptures, walk on Kampa Island, and have a beer in a local bar. At the same time, you will learn interesting facts about the city and its citizens.
What to expect
Hidden corners of Prague
🏛 Just a turn from the main sights - and in front of you is the area of New World, non-touristy, but atmospheric. We will wander through its streets and visit the only museum of infant Jesus clothing in the world, the wax figure of Infant Jesus. Here, in the Church of Our Lady Victorious, 60 small costumes are exhibited, the oldest of which was embroidered by Empress Maria Theresa in the 18th century.
🗝 In the mysterious Maltese Quarter, you will unravel the secret of the church dedicated to Virgin Mary under the Chain and peek into the windows of the palace from which Mozart's music sounded in the film 'Amadeus'. And you will also see that Lennon is alive, just like Tsoi!
🐧 I will introduce you to the island of Kampa's favorite, Mr. Kaburek, and afterward, we have 100-kilogram babies and a march of penguins by Czech rebel David Cerny waiting for us. You will see the National Theater up close - the pride of the Czechs, leave an autograph on Václav Havel's heart, try to photograph the rotating Head of Franz Kafka and the upside-down horse.
🍺 The walk will end on a delicious note: I will take you to an undiscovered brewery, where you can taste 14 types of craft beer. Spoiler: you will pour this beer yourself in unlimited quantities!
