You will visit one of the most romantic viewpoints in Rome at Villa Savelli and learn who cultivated the orange alleys here a thousand years ago. You will admire the view of St. Peter's Basilica dome, count how many churches are in the city, and remember who was the first Pope of Rome.

Jewish Ghetto and Tiber Island
In the Jewish Ghetto, you will try the famous pastries in an ancient pastry shop, remember Rome's connection to the word 'fascism,' and learn how the neighborhood lives today. Then, crossing the stone bridge over the Tiber River, you will find yourself on Tiber Island. I will reveal the secret of why the typical 'voice' of Rome — the siren of an ambulance — is especially common here.

Picturesque Trastevere
The Trastevere district is a separate world with narrow streets, ochre-colored houses, ancient shutters, and laundry on ropes.
