What to Expect

• The walk will start in the Jewish Ghetto, which is considered one of the oldest in the world.

• I will show you the place of the greatest politician's murder - Julius Caesar - and tell you about the reasons for his death. And then you will understand why these ancient ruins attract cat lovers.

• We will visit one of the most beautiful Renaissance palaces with exquisite sculptures and admire the charming turtle fountain, done in the Mannerist style.

• After that, we will travel back in time and uncover the secrets of antiquity, find the ancient Theatre of Marcellus, built by Caesar's order, and reveal where the ruins of the oldest structure - Portico of Octavia - are located. Here we will try the freshest ricotta pie and move on.

• Before entering the most authentic district of Rome, we will visit a unique place - the only island on the Tiber River. You will learn why the oldest hospital is located here, shrouded in mysteries and legends.

• The second part of the walk will take place in Trastevere district - it is here that the features of real Italy are still present: narrow cobblestone streets, ancient churches, ivy-covered and grapevine-colored houses, rows of scooters and tiny, almost toy-like Fiats, cozy tables of street cafes, laundry hanging on ropes right in the middle of the streets. We will visit the most beautiful basilicas, viewpoints, and fountains, and if you wish, we will buy the most delicious gelato.

At the end, I will leave you a detailed list of places where you can find the best Roman pasta and pizza, prosciutto, cheeses, and fresh pastries. I will also advise you on how to plan your further vacation correctly so as not to waste precious time.
