What to Expect

• We will meet near your hotel and head to the most multicultural district of Istanbul - Beyoglu, once known as 'Little Europe'
• Visit the mysterious underground tunnel, discovered recently during the last reconstruction. Some parts of it are still bricked up
• Climb up to the roof of an ancient inn (hotel): marvel at the city panoramas and take a look at Istanbul's famous landmarks from above
• Step by step delving into the history of the district and discussing the architecture of European colonization times, we will reach the French Theatre favored by many sultans
• Explore the premises of a Greek nursing home known only to locals
• Sample the magnificent locally-produced wine and talk about the Turkish mentality
• Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a luxurious hotel built for the passengers of the 'Orient Express' train, retaining its 19th-century decor. Compare the interiors of rooms for passengers of different classes and relax with a cup of tea on the hotel terrace with magnificent views of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn bay
• Discover the mysterious lighthouse and unlock its secrets
• On the rooftop of an old building, enjoy views of the city, Hagia Sophia, and the Suleymaniye Mosque. Here, indulge in the exquisite taste of a Spanish dessert - a must-try for all city guests

• The tour will be conducted by me or another guide from our team
• At the establishments' rooftops, you need to buy something to be allowed in (tea or coffee with dessert)
• The guide's entrance to paid places is also paid for by you
