Retro Car Journey through the Past of Tbilisi
About this experience
Have you seen everything in Tbilisi? Have you ridden on everything? We offer you a sightseeing tour of the city on a unique mode of transportation - a bright car that seems to have come straight from the pages of history. The journey will immediately come to life in new colors: you will be able to transport yourself to the times we will tell you about and vividly imagine yourself as a witness to important events.
What to Expect
Legvtakhevi Gorge
First, we will visit the Legvtakhevi Gorge on foot, known as the Legvtakhevi Gorge - a picturesque attraction in Tbilisi. Here flows the once turbulent, now gentle mountain river Tsavkisis Tsikali. It passes through the Botanical Garden, then through the entire gorge and ends with a beautiful waterfall. It is unique in that there are few natural waterfalls in the world that are located right in the center of a large city.
Retro Car Ride
We will sit in a retro car and ride through the Georgian Arbat to Freedom Square, passing by the 5th-century temple-fortress of Vakhtang Gorgasali, the Sephardic and Ashkenazi synagogues. Leaving the Old Town, we will enter the world of modernity: we will see Paskavich Square and the Vorontsov Theater. Next, Rustaveli Avenue will open its arms to us, many buildings of which will charm with Baroque and Rococo styles.
You will see the places where the voices of Chaliapin and Lemeshev sounded, the music of Tchaikovsky, the poetry of Yesenin and Mayakovsky. You will pass by the local possessions of the Romanovs, Mikhailovsky Avenue, and the Vorontsov Rows. When you reach the Dry Bridge by architect Giovanni Scudieri, you will be able to visit the famous flea market located on it.

I liked the colorful guide. It was great to wander around the city with her. And it even went beyond the specified timing. I give her a good rating. But as for the trip in a retro car, don't be deceived. Neither the ‘Antelope gnu’ nor anything like that will come to you. The ride was on a multi-seat...
