What to Expect
Red Stone Castle
The road along the Small Carpathians will lead us to the Red Stone Castle, built in the 13th century for Queen Constance. Later, it was owned by the Fuggers, who extracted gold, silver, and copper ore in the territory of Slovakia. To store the precious minerals, they built large cellars under the castle, where we will descend. You will also see a collection of luxurious furniture and weapons, beautiful frescoes, and hear fascinating stories.
Saint Jur
After visiting the castle, we will stop by the winemaking town of Saint Jur. It is distinguished by its unique charm, many houses here date back to the 13th century. Beneath each of them lies a winemaking cellar. During a walk along the cozy streets, you will learn why a labyrinth was built under the town, what connection Count Dracula has to these places, and what the King of Madagascar was doing here. How can you not try the local wine in a winemaking town? If you wish, we will visit one of the establishments for a tasting.
