Long ago, the four Royal Cities united into one, attracting travelers from all over the world in search of the mysterious spirit of the Middle Ages. I will introduce you to the monumental architecture and tell you about the past of two parts of one magnificent Prague!
What to Expect
Noble Hradčany
The walk will cover historical sites, about which I will tell you in detail.
We will start with one of the oldest monasteries in Prague - Strahov. Once it was a fortress guarding the approach to the city. Now it is a famous historical building in the Baroque style, founded by Saint Norbert. Since then, a brewery has remained, where you can taste the hoppy drink with the same name.
Then you will head to Loreta Square to see the Cernin Palace - the former residence of aristocrats, the Capuchin Monastery, and Loreta, an elegant 17th-century monastery complex. I will show you the legendary House of St. Luke and tell you its secrets.
We will continue our journey to the main square - Hradčany - and talk about the palaces that belonged to the most influential and wealthy noble families.
We will conclude the tour with an authentic part of the city - Prague Castle, where all Czech rulers lived. You will enter through the main entrance, explore the courtyards, and visit St. Vitus Cathedral - a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.
