About this experience
Okinawa is the youngest Japanese prefecture. Here, antiquity and modernity astonishingly intertwine. You will visit an amazing park that tells the story of the former islanders' life, enjoy the breathtaking panorama from Cape Manzamo, and relax on the Japanese favorite beach. And in conclusion, we will indulge in sweets and admire the transformation of the streets as the evening approaches.
What to expect
Ryukyu Village
We will visit a small park with architectural and some theatrical elements characteristic of traditional Okinawan life. Island festivals, lively and colorful islanders, culinary delights, and crafts are all gathered here on one territory and will give you the opportunity to experience the true atmosphere of island life.
Cape Manzamo in Onna Village
The picturesque Cape Manzamo is one of the main island landscapes. You have undoubtedly seen it on glossy covers of East Asia guidebooks, in TV shows about distant and unique travels. You will have the opportunity to appreciate this beauty, created more than 500 years ago by one of the great emperors of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
Busena Beach
According to many years of assessments, Busena is the coziest beach on the island. You can treat yourself to sunbathing and quality Japanese service in the second half of our tour day. An alternative to the beach is the underwater observatory on the hotel complex's premises, where at a depth of a few meters you will observe various fish species of the Okinawan waters without immersing yourself in the sea with bulky scuba gear.
Patisserie Palace and Kokusai-dori Street
On the coast of Onna Village, there is a beautiful place with its picturesque private beach where we will try several types of locally produced sweets. I will talk about Okinawan gastronomic culture and some secrets of longevity of its inhabitants. At the end of the route, we will end up on the street of evening lights. Here, life is in full swing until midnight. Numerous local cuisine restaurants offer their menus to Japanese and foreign guests of the island. I will provide a few recommendations that could help you choose a place for dinner.
