Mysteries and Secrets of Evening Rome - in a Mini-Group
About this experience
They say Rome is one of the most mysterious cities in the world. Over almost 3,000 years, it has accumulated many enigmas and secrets, some of which still captivate the imagination. Tired of dry facts and dates, want to learn history in an interesting and unusual way? Then we are on the same page! We will explore the center of Rome with its famous locations, as well as visit hidden corners.
What to Expect
Spanish Steps Square. You will not only learn about the most important historical sites - the Spanish Steps and the church towering above them, the Barcaccia Fountain, the Column of the Immaculate Conception, and the Spanish Steps Palace, but also hear about the famous mason and adventurer, the mystical figure - Count Cagliostro. Also, about the tragic fate of his wife, who still appears as a ghost, about the influence of Freemasonry on Italy, and about the persecutions of Masons.
Trevi Fountain and Piazza della Rotonda near the Pantheon. Let's recall the legends and myths surrounding them.
Navona Square and Campo de' Fiori, where the real 'ghost zone' is located. Once great, but also terrible events took place here, events that make your blood run cold. Along the way, we will visit magnificent Catholic churches with paintings, talk about the role of the church and the Roman popes in the city's history, and about which of them still wander around as spirits.
The main temple of the Jesuit Order and Torre Argentina Square, where the excavations of an ancient temple complex are located. We will reveal where exactly Gaius Julius Caesar was killed during the conspiracy, and also, most likely, see... cats!
Our journey will end in the Roman Forum area where you can enjoy a beautiful panorama of the ancient city.

Excellent, fascinating excursion at a democratic price. The guide took us around the city for 3.5 hours instead of the stated 2.5. We really enjoyed everything! Thank you!

Sebastian is an excellent tour guide, he tried to show more than promised. He is an interesting conversationalist and a creative person. I am glad to have met him. We then booked a private tour with Sebastian.

The tour was off-topic. There was neither mystique nor the secrets of evening Rome.
