What to Expect

The Atmosphere of Real Paris. We will meet at the Place des Abbesses: explore the contrasts of Paris and talk a bit about the 18th arrondissement, walk along the souvenir shops and restaurants. We will see the famous carousel (great photo opportunity!) and enjoy magnificent views - because it is from the hill of Montmartre that one of the most beautiful views of Paris opens up.

Architectural Notes. At the top of the hill, we will visit the lavish neo-Byzantine Sacré-Cœur Basilica. And on the winding streets, we will encounter one of the oldest churches in Paris, the 12th-century Saint-Pierre. Here we will see the statue of Saint Denis: I will tell you how his name is connected to the birth of Montmartre.

Impressionist Traces. Don't forget that we are in the area where the geniuses of French Impressionism worked in the 19th century: Monet, Renoir, Picasso, and other masters. We will stroll through the famous artist square, where the bohemian spirit still lingers. We will see the statue "Man Passing through a Wall" and take photos with the legendary windmills.

French Picnic - the highlight of our stroll. What is bohemian Montmartre without wine, chestnuts, cheeses, and traditional sausages! For a snack, we'll choose a romantic corner of the district to finish our meeting on a refined and tasty note.
