During the tour, we will explore the most bohemian district of Paris inside out. I will show you its most interesting landmarks and places where you can feel like a Parisian.
What to Expect
New Athens
Ever heard of Athens in Paris? The district at the foot of Montmartre is called New Athens. Rue des Martyrs and its surroundings are a treasure trove for lovers of cozy shops, cafes, and restaurants! Here you will stroll and have coffee in the company of real Parisians. Enjoy a terrace in the orangery of Hotel Amour or a hipster café like Kooka Boora, where Brits, French, and Swedes serve the best homemade scones and the tastiest latte in town.
Paris' Music
I'll show you the street where all the shops are musical instruments. And if you really want to bring home an antique gramophone, I'll show you where to find them in abundance! We'll walk to the Museum of Romantic Life with its famous tea room, I'll show you the club where Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin liked to hang out, and you'll love it for its homely atmosphere and rock 'n' roll vibes. I'll also suggest where to dance the night away - for example, at Carmen (a club in a mansion where Georges Bizet lived), or at the most exclusive place with a private hotel and a mysterious witch's stone!
Legendary Montmartre
We'll climb Montmartre hill so you can see the street with the most beautiful private houses in Paris. I'll show you the man passing through a wall and the mansion of singer Dalida. If you're with kids, I'll take you to quiet large playgrounds shaded by trees. We'll bypass Sacré-Cœur and relax in a cozy park behind it, then stroll to the fabric market where you can buy all the designer patches. We'll have a cup of coffee on the most hidden terrace in Paris with a unique view of the Eiffel Tower!
