About this experience
The famous hill in the 18th arrondissement of Paris is a treasure trove of historical plots and facts, the abode of the Bohemia of the 19th century and one of the most authentic corners of the city. Join me on the streets of Montmartre, before you have visited the Orsay Museum and have not had your fill of Paris, to capture the atmosphere of creativity here and enjoy the aesthetics of the legendary district.
What to expect
"Paris, I love you!"
"The wall of love", the famous cabaret "Moulin Rouge", the renowned studios, and the narrow quiet streets will appear before you as Montmartre, practically becoming the embodiment of all of Paris. Here were filmed famous movies: "Amélie", "Midnight in Paris", and, of course, the declaration film - "Paris, I love you!". From the top of the hill, you will overlook the city panorama, learn how Montmartre is linked to French wine, and at the end of the tour, you will be able to visit one of the most beautiful churches in the city - Sacré-Cœur.
Children of Montmartre
All of the 19th century the slopes of the hill, its ruins, the cheap and festive life attracted artists, poets, and writers. Degas, Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, Van Gogh, Picasso, Berlioz, and many other artists, actors, and poets lived here, often in poverty. They spent lively merry evenings in cabarets and found inspiration in the beauties of Paris. You will immerse yourself in their fates and other Montmartre stories of the past and present. I believe that a walk through this district will be the brightest impression of your journey to Paris.
