About this experience

What to Expect
Best of Montmartre
Discover the most interesting locations of the district on this tour. The walking route will include:
- Sacré-Cœur Basilica - one of Paris's most popular landmarks. You will admire the cathedral towering above the city and learn when it was built and why locals call it "sugary."
- Moulin Rouge - the most famous cabaret in the world! I will reveal which celebrities performed on its stage and what the Moulin Rouge dancer told Elvis Presley. I will share the story of a French artist who hardly ever left the cabaret and the current show schedule.
- Sculpture "Man Passing Through Walls" - you will learn which literary character inspired this monument and how it fulfills the wishes of Parisians and travelers.
- The Pink House - a creation of the artist Maurice Utrillo. I will explain why he decided to repaint the white walls of the café and the consequences of this idea.
- Montmartre Vineyard - stroll among the vineyards that French painters planted and, if desired, purchase local wine.
Additionally, I will take you to the hidden gems of Montmartre. You will uncover the soul of this district, find out where to buy macaron pastries at a good price, and who the best chocolatier of the year is. We will also discuss the character traits and habits of Parisians and admire the inspiring panorama of the French capital.
