You will enjoy breathtaking views of the Boka Kotorska Bay and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the ancient towns of Cetinje and Rijeka Crnojevica. You will also taste local delicacies in the village of Njegusi, admire the beauty of Mount Lovcen, and learn about Montenegrin traditions, customs, and mentality.
What to expect
Spectacular panoramas and the town of Rijeka Crnojevica
You will be amazed by the view of the Budva Riviera, overlook the most beautiful spot of Lake Skadar from a height, and visit one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Montenegro, 'Pavlova Strana'. You will also visit the tiny town of Rijeka Crnojevica and optionally taste wine or rakija.
Cetinje - the cultural capital of Montenegro
Strolling through the old streets of Cetinje, you will see the Vlach church, the royal theater Zetski Dom, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin on Cipur, the residence of the heir to the throne and the palaces 'Biljarda' and Nikola I. And in the central square, you will meet the blacksmith Bogdan and see wrought iron products of folk crafts. You will also visit the main attraction of the city - the male Orthodox Cetinje Monastery of the 15th century - and enjoy wonderful views from the Eagle's Cliff.
Lovcen National Park and the village of Njegusi
After admiring the panorama of Mount Lovcen and the Ivanovo Korito valley, you will visit the mausoleum of the Montenegrin ruler - Petar II Petrovic Njegos. Next, you will visit the ancestral nest of his dynasty - the historic village of Njegusi, also known as the birthplace of Montenegrin prosciutto and cheese. Here you will learn about the country's gastronomic traditions and optionally taste local delicacies. On the way home, we will make another stop at the Austro-Hungarian Gorazda fortress from 1886.
