What to Expect
Ancient Kotor and Cetinje
Our journey will begin in Old Kotor - you will stroll through narrow streets, visit the cathedrals of St. Tryphon, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, and learn the history of Blessed Osanna. Then you will travel along a picturesque mountain serpentine road to the old capital of Montenegro - Cetinje. Along the way, enjoy the best views of the Bay of Kotor and make a stop in a picturesque village to taste the famous Njeguši prosciutto and cheese. In Cetinje, you will visit a monastery from the 15th century and explore Orthodox shrines.
Skadar Lake and the Karst Heart of Montenegro
In the second part of the tour, you will visit the Skadar Lake National Park, where you will boat around and immerse yourself in the exciting world of the Amazon without leaving Montenegro! The next adventure is the karst Lipska Cave, which will impress you with its amazing system of underground corridors, tunnels, and halls. I will tell you about the origin of stalactites and stalagmites, and explain why the temperature in the cave is only 8-12 degrees Celsius.
