What to expect
Pyramids and the Great Sphinx
You will see the main symbols of Egypt: the pyramids in Giza and the statue of the Great Sphinx. I will tell you what they are made of, when and by whom they were built, the role they played in society, and how they managed to survive to this day. I will also show you the 'bent' pyramid of Dahshur and the pyramids of Saqqara and Memphis, explaining their purpose. To fully immerse yourself in the world of Ancient Egypt, the National Museum will help you, where you will examine ancient jewelry, papyri, coins, statues, and household items.
Inside Cairo
Cairo is not only about pyramids. You will visit Africa's largest market, Khan el-Khalili, explore the 12th-century Citadel of Saladin, and admire the Marble Mosque of Muhammad Ali. Additionally, you will see ancient Coptic churches, stroll through the oldest street in the city, Al-Muizz, and uncover the secrets of the mysterious Baron Empain's palace.
