About this experience
Cairo is one of the oldest, most mysterious, and unique cities in the world. I will tell you how it evolved, what interesting events happened in it, how people lived and live here. I will show you the magnificent Giza Pyramids and the Great Sphinx, take you through the halls of the National Museum, and introduce you to artifacts from different eras. And I will also share the features of modern Egypt: its traditions and culture.
What to Expect
Giza Pyramids
You will climb the famous Pyramid of Khufu: touch its ancient stones, feel the breath of centuries, and imagine the times when it was built. I will be happy to help you with this: tell you how the pharaohs and their wives lived, when and how the idea of building the pyramids arose, and how they differ from each other. Show you the famous Great Sphinx and the Lower Temple of Pharaoh Khafre, reveal the rich history of these places, and help you find the best angles for photos.
National Museum and Khan al-Khalili District
The Cairo Museum in Tahrir Square is one of the largest museums in the world, with over 150,000 exhibits. You will see the sarcophagi and mummies of the pharaohs, objects of everyday life of the ancient Egyptians, and samples of local art from different centuries. From the cozy museum space, we will move to the bustling streets of Cairo and head to the ancient Khan al-Khalili district. You will remember it with colorful textiles, dishes, jewelry, and the atmosphere of a real Eastern bazaar.
