About this experience
With the onset of winter, Warsaw fills with the radiance of colorful lights, the smell of pine needles, and the anticipation of Christmas! I invite you to take a stroll together through the fairy-tale capital: see the main Christmas tree on Castle Square, try hot chocolate and mulled wine at the Christmas market, learn about Polish holiday traditions, and visit the wonderful Wilanow Park, which amazes Warsaw's guests every year with its magical illuminated displays on the facade of the palace.
What to Expect
A Stroll through the Christmas Capital
You will walk through the most festive corners of Warsaw, learning about the history and landmarks of the capital along the way. The walk will start at Castle Square, where you will admire the huge Christmas tree sparkling with lights and the snow-covered Royal Castle. We will walk through the Krakowskie Przedmiescie to the Golden Coach along an alley lined with dozens of glowing trees. We will visit beautiful churches where Christmas nativity scenes are displayed following medieval tradition. Along the way, I will share with you some legends of Warsaw that will perfectly complement the magical atmosphere of our walk!
Warsaw with the Scent of Chocolate
It's time to relax and warm up in a cozy Warsaw café. Among locals, this place is famous for its delicious hot chocolate, which you will definitely sample! Here you can also buy Polish chocolate and candies in beautiful festive packaging for yourself or as a gift for your loved ones.
Christmas Markets
As Christmas approaches, the city hosts a festive market, which we will also visit! Here you will find various delicacies from different regions of Poland, traditional Polish souvenirs, as well as decorations and handmade items. Afterwards, we will head to the Old Town Market Square, where you can warm up with traditional mulled wine!
Lights of the Royal Wilanow Park
After visiting the New Town, where another beautiful Christmas tree stands, we will go to Wilanow - a luxurious palace-park ensemble in Baroque style, which transforms into a real Royal Garden of lights in winter! Here you will encounter festive compositions of colorful lights against the backdrop of 17th-century architecture, a riot of light and colors! On weekends, you can enjoy an evening music and light laser show on the palace facade at Wilanow, creating the illusion of a lively building.
Our stroll will end in the Old Town, where you can continue the wonderful evening in a restaurant or pub, trying traditional Polish dishes.
