About this experience
When you arrive in a lively and diverse city like Madrid, you can allow yourself to be selfish. That is, to see what is close and interesting to you, forgetting about the tourist routes. This tour literally transforms depending on your interests and wishes. Mix your own cocktail of sights, museums, panoramic views, secret bars, and shops.
What to Expect
- The first point on the agenda is getting acquainted. We will meet in the city center to have some Spanish coffee and determine what must be included in the walking route. Madrid can offer absolutely everything that is interesting to a modern person.
- You can take a walk through the historical part of the city, where various sights, squares, alleys, monasteries, churches, magical streets, and very Spanish places await us, about which I will tell you along the way. Get oriented in the city and learn about the history of Spain and Madrid. While we walk, I will share my experience of living in this sunny country and, of course, talk about Spanish habits, customs, and mentality.
- If you turn off the main streets, you will understand how the city lives from the inside, see districts known for their vibrant alternative life. Small streets, courtyards with terraces, pastry shops with southern sweets, vintage stores where everything costs no more than five euros, and modern exhibitions can be seen at any moment.
- For art lovers, I can conduct a tour of museums, tell unexpected details about the lives of Goya and Picasso, and discuss the symbols in Bosch's paintings.
- And, finally, I recommend taking a walk around the city at night. Bars, tapas, sangria, beer, wine, and more tapas in absolutely different, contrasting, and very Spanish places, ending the walk in one of the popular Spanish clubs. It all depends on your tastes and desires!
