The walk will start in the heart of the city - at the Cybele Square. We offer a tour of 2 rich routes that alternate every other day.
On the Red route walk, you will visit the avant-garde Chueca district, where, as the locals say, you can find everything: from elegant boutiques to antique taverns, from antique shops to galleries of contemporary art. You will see the pompous palaces of the Marquises of Linares and Longoria, the aristocratic quarter and gallery district, the gastronomic center Platea and the San Anton Market. To feel the pulse of Madrid, we will head to Columbus Square, where many interesting events took place.
Opting for the Blue route, you will visit the old Prado avenue and the famous Madrid 'art triangle', see the oldest drama theatre in Spain and houses where Cervantes and Lope de Vega lived. You will visit the Suicide Bridge and the Kisses Crossroad, admire the beautiful Almudena Cathedral and the Royal Palace, and explore the most luxurious squares in Madrid. You will also visit the famous local chocolate shop San Gines and the old literary cafe, frequented by Garcia Lorca, Picasso, and Salvador Dali.
