What to Expect
A Brief Overview of the Island's History
I will pick you up at any convenient location and after a walk in the park, bring you back. On the way, you will learn the most important information about the island and the city of Puerto de la Cruz, where Loro Park is situated. I will tell you about the indigenous Guanches people, who nearly disappeared after the arrival of the Spaniards, about modern life in Tenerife, and share tips for a comfortable stay on the island.
The Amazing Loro Park
The park has its own remarkable history that began with the founder's fascination with parrots. There are now over 700 parrot species in the park. Daily shows feature dolphins, killer whales, and sea lions; you can see tigers and jaguars, chimpanzees and sloths, flamingos and cranes, turtles and crocodiles. There is also a cinema, an orchid garden, a museum of porcelain parrots, a children's playground, and a corner of Australia with hanging bridges and birds fluttering around you. Additionally, the park houses an interesting building constructed in Thai style - one of the largest outside of Thailand.
On the way back, we can visit a fishing village or a trusted seafood restaurant, where you can try traditional local dishes.
