In just a few hours on a journey with me, you will truly understand the character of Tenerife. Stories of the past and legends, untouched by man nature in Anaga Park, breathtaking viewpoints that will take your breath away— all of this will make your visit to the island brighter and more saturated. You will learn about the conquests of the conquistadors and the lives of the Guanche aborigines, visit a volcanic pool, see the 1000-year-old Dragon Tree, and appreciate the hospitality of the Canarians. And you will also get to try unique wine from Tenerife!
What to Expect
Tenerife 360°
The journey will start from the small town of Santiago del Teide in Tenerife, where you will see the original church of San Fernando. Then you will see a kaleidoscope of the best viewpoints with stunning landscapes: the panorama of Puerto de la Cruz, a beautiful view of the rocky coast of Asentejo and the beach of Garanon, as well as observation points of Hardin, La Cruz del Carmen, and Pico del Ingles.
Dragon Tree and Wine Tasting
The Dragon Tree is one of the symbols of the Canary Islands. You will learn why the Guanche considered it sacred and how they used 'dragon's blood' in their daily lives and ritual practices. And in the town of Icod de los Vinos, you will visit a wine tasting. There you will not only get acquainted with the most popular types of Canarian wines in theory and in practice, but also compare local winemaking techniques with European ones.
Curiosities of Tenerife
You will visit the Tunnel of Happiness and the old fishing village of Taganana, learn about how the people of Tenerife live and organize their lives on the island. You will find yourself at the beach of San Marco and see a natural volcanic pool on the north coast. And in good weather, I will take you to the majestic rock of Roque de las Bodegas.
In the Footsteps of Conquistadors
In the oldest part of the town of San Cristobal de la Laguna, you will explore historical buildings related to the conquistador Alonso Fernandez de Lugo. I will tell you why this Andalusian military leader is so revered in Tenerife, which cities owe their birth to him, and how the conquest of the island took place.
The Most Beautiful Corners of Anaga Park
In Anaga Park, you will enjoy fantastic views of the city of La Laguna, and in good weather—even of Mount Teide. You will walk through untouched jungles of relict laurel trees and heather trees. You will admire the diversity of flora, tiny villages, terraced fields, mighty surf, and rocky slopes of the northern coast of Tenerife.
Logistical Details

- The tour route can be adjusted to your preferences.
- The tour starts and ends at the entrance of the hotel in Las Americas, Los Cristianos, or Costa Adeje. Other starting and ending options are available for an extra fee: for example, Puerto de la Cruz (additional fee of 30€); Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Los Gigantes, Puerto de Santiago (additional fee of 20€).
- Lunch at a Canarian restaurant and wine tasting are paid for separately.
- Children over 4 years old are allowed.
- The tour is not possible for groups larger than 4 people.
