A winding mountain road will lead you to the unexplored natural treasures of the north-western part of Tenerife. You will encounter volcanic landscapes and dense forests of Teno Park, drive along mountain roads with excellent photo opportunities, hear the legend of the pirate village Masca, and be inspired by the majestic cliffs of Los Gigantes. At every step, amazing landscape details will unfold before you, whether it's the ancient Teno lighthouse, the giant whale skeleton in Los Silos, natural pools, or rare plant species.
What to expect
Natural Contrasts of Teno Park
Our journey to the natural park will reveal a new side of Tenerife's nature to you: you will see how the lush and dense vegetation of Teno contrasts with the landscapes of the island's southern slopes. We will cross the entire Teno Natural Park diagonally, observing deep mountain ravines, fairy-tale basalt rocks, tiny villages, and terraced gardens. You will also hear interesting facts from me about the evergreen laurel forests of Monteverde and the unique flora of the Canary Islands.
Legends of the Pirate Village
Along the thrilling serpentine road, we will reach the unique village of Masca with traditional Canarian houses. You will get acquainted with the local way of life, enjoy inspiring mountain landscapes, and hear the pirate legend of hidden treasures near the village. You will also learn about the famous trail leading from Masca to the ocean.
Magical Panoramas of Los Gigantes Cliffs
On the way to the westernmost point of the island, Punta de Teno, you will see the preserved old lighthouse from afar, and then, standing on the viewing platform, you will enjoy a breathtaking view of the Los Gigantes cliffs. Just imagine: giant cliffs up to 600 meters high almost vertically rise from the ocean! We will explore dizzying landscapes and discover disappearing plant species and endemics growing here.

How the Tour Goes
- I or another guide from our team will conduct the tour for you
- The tour starts and ends at the hotel entrance in Las Americas, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje. Other start and end options are available for an additional fee: for example, Puerto de la Cruz (supplement of 30€); Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Los Gigantes, Puerto de Santiago (supplement of 20€).
- The tour is not possible for groups larger than 4 people
- Children over 4 years old are allowed
