About this experience
If you have already visited Rome's landmarks, it's time to explore interesting neighborhoods beyond the tourist center! Join me for a comfortable small group tour of the Jewish Ghetto and Trastevere. These ancient districts will transport you back to Antiquity and the Middle Ages. You will also observe the vibrant modern life of these areas.
What to Expect
In the Ghetto and Trastevere, you will find numerous artifacts from different eras. We will visit the Bull Forum at Piazza Bocca della Verità, see the ancient Portico of Octavia, and walk across the ancient bridge to Tiber Island. I will tell you:
- What 'lie detectors' the Romans used in ancient times
- What types of arches were built in Ancient Rome
- Who is considered the 'grandfather of the Colosseum'

- What word the Tiber Island gave us

This was our second tour with Tatiana, and everything was top-notch.
